When Buffalo Tried to Be Beautiful

The beautiful butterfly was on her way to garden full of juicy flowers. Singing melodiously she sat over on a buffalo’s (bison) back to take some rest. The buffalo, amazed at her beauty asked why butterfly looks so beautiful and he is so ugly?

Butterfly then answered her beauty is nature’s gift and every creature is meant for some purpose or the other, hence buffalo should not be sad of his looks.

Buffalo was not satisfied with the answer and thought it is the sweet juice of colorful flowers that make her look so pretty.

 

The buffalo who has just given birth to her young one now decided she will not feed her milk to him rather give him flower juice so that when he grow young he will look as beautiful and colorful as the butterfly is.  She started feeding her young only on flower juice. Soon the young buffalo died.
