 I came to this city of dreams, Mumbai for higher studies. I got myself enrolled in one of the College of Mumbai University. At the same time I applied for the university hostel. As the process of allotment of hostel was taking much of the time and I had to commute from a far of place, I decided to stay with one of my relative at his P.G. accommodation. My relative was staying with some of his friends (as it generally happens during the student life). From my relative’s place it was very convenient to attend my classes

I must admit that along with studies I was also enjoying my life at the hilt. All of them were very nice to me and gave due respect as anyone give to their family member. Yes, I think it was like a family only. This family was not related by blood but was based on friendship and respect.

There one day I met a person. I was introduced to him. He was my relative's friend and a student. We only exchanged few words. I remained in his company only for 2-5 min. But in those few minutes I had altogether different feeling. He was quite a good looking guy especially his eyes. Hmm.... overall I was bowled over by his presence. Thereafter I shifted to the university hostel.

Gradually I lost touch with those fun loving guys. I got busy in my own life. But still.... somewhere in the back of my mind the brief encounter left a mark.

I completed my studies and joined the professional world. The world full of competition. The real world where you do not know the person promising to be your well wisher turns out to be your adversary

Meanwhile, I had my share of experiences. I could not find anyone whom I can trust and rely upon without any suspicion. My parents started looking match for me. I also tried to find on my own through friends, matrimonial sites etc but could not find of my choice. I was very much tired and frustrated of my life. I lost all the hopes of getting a partner of my choice. I even decided to remain unmarried

Suddenly without a plan I visited my parents. My parents were very much bothered of me especially with my decision of remaining single. There at my home after a hiatus of 6 months I again decided to go on the matrimonial site and start my search again. At the site I found a request to initiate contact.

The profile and the person seemed to be interesting. The interesting thing was that the person had contacted me 6 months back i,e the time when I lost all hopes and stopped my search. I replied to the profile. We spoke over the phone and decided to meet. He was based in Mumbai. I cut short my vacation and came to Mumbai.

We decided to meet at a particular place. As generally expected from a female, I reached late but only by 5 minutes. We were face to face. While proceeding to the restaurant I asked about his educational background. At that time I got an occasion to notice his eyes. His eyes seemed to be familiar. We liked each other and decided to get married. Now I am married to him.

The person with whom I decided to get married is the same person I met seven years back and whose each and every word is still very fresh and alive in my mind for these years and would remain forever
